Our Story

It all started with the loss of a dog called Reggie.

Back in December 2023, we suddenly lost our Springer Spaniel, Reggie. If you’ve ever loved a dog, you’ll know there’s no such thing as just a pet. He was family. And when he was gone, the house felt very… quiet.

We weren’t ready to welcome another dog into our lives. Not emotionally. Not yet. But as the months passed, we realised something else - we really missed the company, the routines, the muddy paws, and that unconditional joy only dogs seem to bring.

Then a friend asked a simple question:
“Do you know anyone I could trust to look after my pup?”

Turns out… she did.

What started as “we’ll help out this once” quickly became our unofficial dog fix. One pup turned into another. And another. Walks turned into overnights. Overnights turned into regulars. And somewhere along the way, Love Dogs – People Not So Much was born.

We’re not a big, flashy operation. We’re dog people. The kind who talks to dogs like they understand every word (because obviously they do), who plan their day around walk times, and who believe dogs deserve love, patience, and a safe, happy place while their humans are away.

So, if you’re looking for somewhere your dog will be treated like one of the family, welcomed, fussed over, and genuinely cared for - you’re in the right place.

People? We tolerate them.

Our Prices

Dog Walking - £10 (group walk of 60 mins)

Solo Dog Walking - £15 (60 mins)

Daycare - £25 per day (9am - 6pm)

Overnight Boarding - £35 (24 hrs)

£25 (24 hrs - 2nd dog, same household)

Prior to any services being provided we require a Meet & Greet (FREE Usually £15 - Required by Local Council).

Non-returnable & Non-transferable deposit of 25% to be paid at the time of Booking
*All Bookings must be paid in full 14 Days before the Stay
*Cancellations Later than 7 days before boarding won’t be refundable
